Royalties are billed according to the rules that are set out in the Royalty Distribution Rules (see downloadable documents). A general condition for the accounting of royalties is that the royalties are paid by the user and a list of music that was used is turned in.
Collected royalties are itemized on the billing statement according to which musical works were used from various users (concert organizers, radio broadcasters, TV broadcasters, music publishers, music CDs, internet service operators, etc.).
Billing of royalties is based on reports sent by users, which lists the music used, and royalties are calculated according to the royalty payment due for each concrete author.
In cases where we don't receive reports from a particular user, we calculate royalty payments based on what we think is appropriate use.
